Hawai'i Lions International Youth Camp

PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Hawaii Lions International Youth Camp is to bring together young people who are potential leaders of all countries into an atmosphere of friendship, love and understanding under the banner of Lionism and to permit the open sharing of ideas, cultural viewpoints and to promote international understanding and goodwill towards the goal of world peace. PROGRAM: To focus on understanding the world’s multi-cultural heritage, group tours relating to business, industry, education, nature, government and history are the core of our program. Tours will be the starting point of structured group discussions, seminars conducted by Lions, government and educational leaders. Participation in these activities is mandatory. RECREATION: This may include indoor and outdoor sports, team and individual completion, talent shows, cookouts, swimming, hiking and participating in events and meetings with Lions, Lionesses, Leo clubs and other youth groups. |
